Deutsche Juristische Gesellschaft für Tierschutzrecht, or DJGT, is an association whose members, primarily lawyers, deal with German, European and international animal welfare law. Their goal is to work towards the effective implementation of the existing animal welfare regulations, and to encourage further development of legal protections for animals.
