Circuses with wild animals: veterinarians contest the ambiguous position of their Bar Council.

The French remain attached to circuses, a place of family friendliness, but for several years more and more people have been put off by the exhibition of wild animals. According to a survey by the IFOP-Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis in 2018, 2 out of 3 French people are in favor of banning wild animals in circuses, this proportion reaching 4 out of 5 French people under 35 (1) . Echoing this opposition, more and more municipalities are voting for circuses without wild animals on their territory (2). And in the world, more and more countries or cities prohibit the presence of wild animals in circuses (3).
