Business Information Manager

Eurogroup for Animals is entering a significant and exciting growth phase and we expect to grow significantly in the short- and medium-term. In order to ensure that we can deliver even more results for animals in Europe and beyond we are strengthening the infrastructure of the organisation with various new positions, one being that of medium level Business Information Manager. 

The Business Information Manager helps maximise the smooth and effective operation of the organisation by optimising how information is shared and used. Specifically, s/he ensures that the systems and processes decided upon are implemented across the organisation, that all users adopt them as required, and advises on new and or alternative systems to improve the flow and value of information within and between teams. S/he reports to the Operations Manager.

Job responsibility

  • Developing, updating and implementing information and IT policies
  • IT demand management
  • Organising user support
  • Managing system implementation

The systems include but are not limited to: 

  • CRM: Salesforce (for contact and account management - approx. two-thirds of the role)
  • Other systems including Trello (for project management) and Google Workspace (for general data management, sharing and standard business applications including Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides - approx. one third of the role)

Advising on additional / alternative systems that we may consider using (e.g. more powerful project management either as add on to existing systems or via new ones).

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong affinity with animal protection and relate to the vision and mission of Eurogroup for Animals;
  • Fluent written and spoken English;  
  • Advanced user of Salesforce or other similar CRM systems;
  • Experience with cloud computing in a business environment;
  • Expert user of standard business applications including Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, or MS alternatives.
  • Professional, striving for excellence;

  • Strong interpersonal skills showing maturity and confidence;
  • Strong team player;
  • Ability to deal with pressure and change in a calm and professional manner.

Employment Contract

  • Permanent, full-time position (38h per week)
  • Based at Eurogroup for Animals office, 29 rue Ducale, 1000 Brussels, with possibility for partial remote working in or close to Brussels.
