It is confirmed that the face-to-face meetings of the Animals and Plants Committees will not take place as scheduled from 13-17 July and on 17 and 20-23 July, respectively.

It was also advised that, in the interim, the Animals and Plants Committee Chairs, with the members, should review their workplans and, with support of the Secretariat, consider ways for addressing the intersessional work instructed to them by the CoP in advance of the meetings to be re-scheduled in 2021.

The Secretariat will be communicating on the arrangements for rescheduled meetings of the Animals and Plants Committees in due course.
