Massive stranding of dolphins on the French coast

News
More than 600 cetaceans have been found on French beaches since December, 95% of which bear traces of fishing accidents.
Since 2016, the number of cetaceans found lying on the coast has beaten previous records every year. And 2020 promises to be worse with already more than 600 common dolphins (delphinus delphis) stranded since December 2019, mostly dead in the Bay of Biscay, while the season is far from being over.
