On this occasion, Luss Bildgen, the organisation's long-standing president, presented the plans for a new extension to the Gasperich shelter, which will provide more space and suitable accommodation for the growing number of cats. 

Eurogroup for Animals was among the guests and Andreas Erler, Senior Political Adviser, was invited to give an update on current developments in animal welfare at European level.
