Luxury goods group Kering received the Corporate4Animals award at this year’s Eurogroup for Animals Annual Conference, in recognition of their commitment to improving animal welfare in their supply chains and the wider fashion industry.

The Corporate4Animals award recognises corporate entities who have made significant efforts to improve animal welfare standards.

This year’s award recognised the work of Kering in driving improved animal welfare in fashion supply chains, in line with their long-term commitment for sustainability.

We believe modern luxury is an ethical luxury. Fur neither align with our vision of ethical luxury nor with the aspiration of clients and more broadly of society at large.

In 2019, Kering published their Animal Welfare Standards, providing a framework for the treatment of animals throughout their supply chain. Last year the company took a step forward by banning fur of their collections.

Kering believes that progress will be made through collaboration between all stakeholders involved in animal welfare, and collectively we will be able to move the lines for the fashion industry.
