Animal Defenders International (ADI) has welcomed the decision by Defra (UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) to refuse big cat circus trainer Thomas Chipperfield a licence to perform in England.

ADI footage has shown the animals displaying abnormal behaviour, indicating that they were not coping with their environment.
