Stop bullfighting in EU

11225378_1049072758456906_882540072396604661_o-1024×768

Eurogroup for Animals is extremely pleased that the European Parliament has listened to its member organisations demands and voted to stop the EU funding of bulls that are used in bull fighting, a practice that a majority of European citizens condemn. This is a major step forward and we hope that the ban will be extended beyond 2016 and confirmed in future budgets.

Eurogroup for Animals and its members have been campaigning  for many years to bring an end to the barbaric treatment of bulls during bull fights and we hope that this decision will bring us one step closer to closing down this industry and  will stop the suffering of bulls throughout the EU
